For the first day of classes, the welcome address will begin at 6:30pm, so please arrive at 6:00 pm for student sign-in and to receive your registration and class materials. For all other weeks, the first talk starts at 7:00pm.

The evenings' classes will begin with a faculty member from the School of Medicine who will give a public seminar similar to those given to the medical students, using the world-renowned McMaster approach of problem-based learning. Each evening will have two separate sessions. The seminars will explore the scientific basis of topical medical issues followed by a question and answer session.

Here is a typical class outline:

7:00pm - 7:45pm    First Speaker Session
7:45pm - 8:00pm    Question Period
8:00pm - 8:15pm    Coffee Break and Refreshment
8:15pm - 9:00pm    Second Speaker Session

9:00pm - 9:15pm

   Question Period

Note: Given copyright and environmental concerns, we will not be providing speaker handouts this year. We will, however, be posting lecture notes online provided we have the permission of the speaker.
